My grill dog is junk!

This is my second time using it, and it stopped turning.Looking at it further, it seems that the poorly meshing gears on the side jammed, and spun the un-welded square end off the drive shaft.

From the moment I took it out of the box, the gears never mesh well, and the mechanism would stick and jam. Nice idea, really bad workmanship.
